They are wearing traditional Danish costumes, which consists of a pointed hat with ribbon attachments, a vest-like bodice tied across their bust, and a tied apron over a full skirt with horizontal stripes running across the bottom of the skirt. [1908 School Picture of Faculty & Students]

Description: Photograph of a large group of children and the faculty of Danevang School in Danevang, Texas. They have been arranged into five rows. Behind them, the school building can be seen, along with three windows, two of which have shutters. The photograph, which is torn on its right bottom and top corners, has been pasted on a gray stiff paper. On the back of it, there is hand-written text that reads, "School picture Danevang."

1910 Central School Class Photo

Description: Photograph of a group of children and an adult female standing before a building with two windows. The children are variously dressed in pants, shorts, and dresses. 1920 Dodge Roadster

Description: Copy negative of Hans Andersen changing a flat tire on his 1920 Dodge Roadster during his honeymoon trip to California with his wife, Anna. Hans is squatting by the front left tire with a tool in his hand. Hans had to change thirty-five tires during the trip.

1920 Dodge Roadster

Description: Copy negative of Hans Thorvald and Anna Andersen standing in front of their Dodge Roadster on their honeymoon in Parlier, California. Anna is wearing a loose long-sleeved shirt that gathers at both cuffs, a scarf tied around her neck, loose pants, and a hat with a gathered ribbon across the rim. Hans, who is standing beside Anna, is wearing a buttoned shirt, a tie, loose trousers, a tool belt, and is holding a hat in his hand. The couple had to change thirty-five flat tires on their honeymoon trip from California to Texas.

1924 Confirmation Class

Description: Photograph of the 1924 Danevang Ansgar Lutheran Church confirmation class, consisting of a group of adolescent boys and girls separated into two rows. The back row is composed of the boys, who wear similar dark three-piece suits. The front row consists of the girls, who wear light-colored dresses. Their hair has been styled in short bobs. Names have been provided, but have been matched properly in another photograph where they were in different positions (see note).

Description: Photograph of the 1924 Danevang Ansgar Lutheran Church confirmation class, consisting of a group of adolescent boys and girls. They are standing on the front steps of the church, wearing formal attire and separated into rows by gender, with the girls in the front and the boys in the back. Additionally, there is an unidentified man behind the boys standing in front of a set of double doors. The girls, from left to right, have been identified as Marie Brodsgaard, Dagny M.
