Description: Black and white photograph of the altar inside the chapel of Danevang Lutheran Church, which was undergoing remodeling at the time. According to accompanying information, architect Paul Wahlberg of Houston designed the remodel. A few planks of wood are the floor in the middle-ground. The altar alcove is hexagonal in shape and has a robed figure of what is presumably Jesus Christ at its center.

W. H. Petersen Obituary

Description: Obituary for W. H. "Speedy" Petersen of Danevang, Texas. He was born on February 17, 1913 in Illinois and died on October 4, 1997 at the age of eighty-four.
