Printed on the back of the postcard is the following information regarding the postcard's creation: "Made in Germany. D.J. Hicks, Importer and Publisher, Beaumont, Texas" and "122771." Handwritten on the back of the postcard, "Mary Lou - What are you all doing today - am sending you mama's slippers. had to wait for letter - did not have any things in small - we are all having a fine time - am exfectin a letter from you all ." The card is addressed to Miss Mary Lou Ginndy Goldthwaite, Tex.
