[American Legion Member in a Parade]

Description: Photograph of a black passenger car in League City's 32nd annual village fair parade, which took place on Kansas Street in League City. Seated higher than the other three passengers is Edna Burford, a 50 year member of the American Legion, according to a sign posted on the side of the car. [Antique Carriage in a Parade]

Description: Photograph of a black, old-fashioned carriage transporting costumed passengers in League City's sesquicentennial parade in honor of Texas' 150th birthday. The four passengers, seated in the rear cab of the carriage, are wearing clothing in the style of the mid-1800s. In keeping with the theme, the driver, who is seated in the front cab, is wearing a curly-haired wig. With the reins in hand, he drives the wagon down the major road in League City where the parade took place.
