Artificial Stone Block.

Description: Patent for a new and improved artificial-stone block. This design "consists in the particular formation of the protuberances by which interlocking joints or seams of the building-blocks are attained, the object of which is to so form the prolific protuberances of said blocks as to permit joining them in close proximity on all the sides or faces of the seam, to reduce the binding material for the same and increase the strength of the same" (lines 14-22).

Description: Patent for the concept of an artificial tomb that serves as a tomb and ornamental piece made as one. "This invention relates to certain improvements in artificial-stone tombs; and it has for its object to produce a tomb with head-stone and foo-piece all in one piece that can be built up or placed immediately over grave, so as to form an ornamental finish, at a comparatively small cost." Artificial Teeth.

Description: Patent for the lower set of artificial teeth, "and aims to provide retainers and combine them with the plate, so as to hold the denture in place against accidental displacement during the process of articulation, prehension, mastication, and deglutition" (lines 10-15). This invention "provides retainers which fill a vacuum in the mouth never heretofore utilized in the construction of artificial teeth and which form a rest for the muscles in their contraction incident to the movements of the jaws, and these retainers render a lower set of artificial teeth s comfortable and serviceable as if they were natural" (lines 22-29).

Atomizer.

Description: Patent for improvements in atomizers or instruments for distributing powders or liquids in which it provided “provision for closing the exit-passage and preserve the strength of the medicated powders or fluid and permit of the carrying of the same within the body of the device without danger of spilling.” (Lines 17-21) The rubber bulb is detachable and is used as a powder-box or as a bottle for fluid. This design consists "[i]n a reading and writing attachment for chairs, the combination of a bail-shaped clamp adapted to be applied to a chair-arm, an upright slotted arm, a set-screw passing through said slotted arm and engaging the clamp, a plate carried by the upper end of said slotted arm, and a table pivotally connected to said plate, whereby the table may be adjusted vertically, horizontally, and obliquely" (lines 66-75).
