Description: Photograph of Vice President Lyndon Baines Johnson taking the presidential oath of office from U.S. District Judge Sarah T. Hughes of Dallas, Texas (back to camera), aboard Air Force One at Love Field Airport, two hours and eight minutes after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas on November 22, 1963. More than a dozen people are in the Air Force One cabin, including former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy (right of LBJ), imminent First Lady Lady Bird Johnson (left of LBJ), Texas Congressman Albert Thomas (in bowtie left of Lady Bird), Jack Valenti (left of Thomas), and Texas Congressman Jack Brooks (on right, behind Mrs. Kennedy's left shoulder).

Description: Scrapbook containing photographs, newspaper articles, mementos, and various pieces of personal history detailing the life of Melissa Ybarra. Ybarra was an undergraduate student at the University of North Texas. She was involved as the President of the Hispanic Students in Higher Education (HSHE), formerly known as the Mexican American American Student Organization (MASO). The articles are in a loose chronological order delineating Melissa Ybarra at celebrations, in student organization at the University of North Texas, and graduation photographs.

Description: Photograph of Sarah T. Hughes and other United States District Court judges from Texas, with President John F. Kennedy and Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson in the Oval Office of the White House, Washington, D.C. Pictured from left to right: Judge James L. Noel, Jr.; Senator Ralph W. Yarborough (Texas); President Kennedy; Judge Sarah T. Hughes; Edmund O. Noel (in front), son of Judge Noel; Vice President Johnson; Judge Adrian A. Spears; Judge Leo Brewster. This particular photographic print was presented to Judge Sarah T. Hughes by Kennedy's successor, President Lyndon B. Johnson. An inscription at the bottom of the print, handwritten by President Johnson, reads "To Judge Sarah Hughes with affection and high regard. Lyndon B. Johnson." On the back of the photograph, "B5212-1" is handwritten in ink.

A pair of bushes is visible in the foreground beside the dormitory; parked bicycles and other flowering bushes are visible in the background near an entrance to the building. On the back of the photograph, a stamp in blue ink reads: "Taylor Publishing Co., Job Number 07702, Pict. No. 2, Page No. 30, NORTH TEXAS STATE COLLEGE, DENTON, TEXAS". There is an identical stamp in blue ink with the same text, but it does not include the picture number or page number.
