The text on the front page says this book contains "Proclamation, Laws, Ordinaces and Notices. Directives and Instructions to German Police."

[Individual Pay Record Book of James Darley, Company A 141st Infantry]

Description: Pay record book belonging to James Darley, the first page on the inside contains information about his birth date, the date of enlistment, and the date he opened the book. His net monthly pay is $2630; he has four entries of payments written in the table on page 4, all having date paid and the names of the "quartermaster making payment." Pages 9 through 11 include instructions for the soldier about how to handle such an account and that they are to wear them at all times.

Description: Book compiled by the 136th Naval Construction "Seabee" Battalion documenting the history of the group from boot camp in Virginia to various military installations across the U.S. and more permanent postings in Guam and Japan during World War II. There are photographs of various persons and evens as well as an epistolary narrative and lists of names by company at the end of the text.

Stamp Album For the purchase of United States War Savings Bonds

Description: Stamp album used for buying and storing war savings bonds; the note on the inside cover says this book will be worth $18.75 when it is completely full of stamps. The cover of the album is patriotically decorated with an eagles at the bottom and a red, white, and blue color scheme; the back cover has an illustration of a patriot holding a musket in his hand and an American flag in the background. Each page on the inside has empty squares to where one places a bought stamp.
