Description: Photograph of apartment house after the hurricane of 1919 in Corpus Christi. Inscription on the back of the photo,"A stucco rooming house across north of the Winona Hotel. Notice the man sitting up on the second story porch. That shows how scarce rooms were and are. Notice the oil streaks on the little house by it. That isn't a fair sample of what many are like - ours on the inside, for instance." Note from C.L. Beskin, "This was 4 unit apt. house on Twigg St. between Chaparral and Water streets. Owned by Mr. W. W. Chapman."
