Crosby County Public Library
History
A state-supported book mobile served patrons until 1962 when a location in the basement of the county courthouse was established as the county library. The population eventually outgrew this space, and in 1988, a new facility was built at the present location.
The beautiful limestone structure complements the Crosby County Pioneer Memorial Museum facade located on the same block in the downtown area. The availability of the Crosbyton Review on The Portal to Texas History is in fulfillment of our mission statement to provide online resources for all ages to address the informational, educational, and recreational needs of all individuals.
