Description: Photograph of a Santa Gertrudis bull in a pasture on the George Ranch. The bull has an "S" branded on his back and near his left hip. He has "72" branded on his left flank. There is a wire fence (topped with barbed wire) just beyond the bull. A gravel road is on the other side of the fence with another fence just beyond the gravel road. Trees line that fence. Written on back in pencil: "600-9". Stamped in green: "The Cattleman 410 E. Weatherford Fort Worth, Texas File No. [in ink] 600-9"

Description: Photograph of Jean Kiger with enclosed letter 2000.042.009a. Kiger was associated with Mr. And Mrs. Albert Peyton George through the Houston Fat Stock Show and Livestock Exposition where Kiger exhibited George Ranch cattle. The graduation portrait of Kiger shows her dressed in her graduation cap and gown. The cap partially covers her shoulder length dark blonde hair. The photograph is secured in a tan folder. The interior of the folder secures the photograph with a matte. The matte has an embossed frame around the perimeter of the photo. Engraved in silver and centered below the portrait: "Wheat Studio". Image dimensions are approximately: 11 cm X 16.1 cm.

Description: Photograph of Mamie Davis George and a group of five women and one man standing outside the Mamie Davis George Prayer Chapel. The plaque bearing the name of the building can be seen just to the right of the open double doors of the chapel. Mrs. Davis is standing to the left of the plaque. The plaque reads: "MAMIE DAVIS GEORGE CHAPEL 1960". George has gray hair and is wearing dark rimmed glasses. Her dark dress has a corsage pinned on the left shoulder in honor of the dedication of the chapel named after her. She has a dark hat with a large two tone bow in front partially covering her gray hair. On back of photo: in pencil "1-5x7 #8"; and black stamp "Humpola Photo Studio Rosenberg, Texas".

Description: Photograph of the Nancy Jones oak tree in the George Ranch house yard. According to the "1996 George Ranch Historical Park Interpreter Training Manual", the oak tree was planted in 1824 by Nancy Jones. A ladder can be seen near the bottom branches on the left side of the tree with a picnic table near the ladder. There are two wooden picnic tables and two white benches in right corner. Shrubs in foreground. Partial view of a white building on right. Wooden fence leads to George barns (roof tops visible in left to center background). A small white pump house is almost obscured by the trunk of the tree near center. The storage tank sits to the right of the pump house. Long white building on other side of wire fence in left background. Written on back of photograph in blue ink: "Oak Tree at Georges 100 yrs old-". Stamped on back of photograph in black: "Photograph by David J. & Mattie V. Morris Box 428 S. Houston, Texas 2709".

(Photograph 2000.037.016 is similar, however, men near truck are in different positions). Photograph has a circled "2" written in pencil in bottom left corner.
