The portion of the house that is shown is the remodeled/expanded carport porte-cochere. Mrs. Davis, who wears glasses and has graying hair, is wearing a light colored ankle length dress with dark shoes. Mary is wearing a knee length dress with dark shoes and has a bonnet covering her head. Plants contained in plant stands, hanging baskets, and pots are seen in various locations on the porte-cochere. White picket fence and trees in right background. Written on the back bottom of the photograph in black ink: "With another wish for a happy birthday, Rhydonia". In pencil "313".

[Black photograph album]

Description: Black photograph album. The cover is textured cardboard which is bound together by a black fabric ribbon. The interior lining of the album cover and subsequent pages are of thick black paper. The album contains 19 photographs taken at a cookout at Camp George. Album contains eleven pages. Photographs adhere to front and back of pages; however, front and back of every page is not utilized, unless there are photographs missing or removed at an early date (no evidence through fading or gluing of any removals). Notation at inside front cover in white: "CAMP GEORGE [T-shaped pattern under each letter of those two words] FORT-BEND-COTX. FEB 22-1920." Below this inscription is an embossed marking: "H. H. Morris Galveston, Tex.". The album is 1 cm thick.

Description: Cardboard box addressed to "Mrs. A.P. George Richmond, Texas" from "J.J. SWEENEY JEWELRY COMPANY 417-419 Main Street HOUSTON, TEXAS". Contained 2000.085.095 There are two five cent postage stamps, one three cent postage stamp and one fifteen cent postage stamp on the box. On bottom of box postal service stamped it was sent on "MAR 29 1927".

Description: Envelope has the following penciled on front: " [return address] Box 96 Fulshear Tx [center] Pictures John Mayes (?) A. P. George Richmond, Texas [the following is printed on envelope front but was probably added after photos were discovered] Photos ca 1920s". The envelope has a red postage stamp embossed on envelope which is partially torn but reads: United States 2 cents. Envelope is torn along right edge (to retrieve contents). This envelope contained six photographs which are accessions 2000.026.001a-g.

Description: Photograph of the First Baptist Church Ladies Group, Richmond, Texas. The group of eight ladies are all dressed in long sleeved outfits with hats (with the exception of woman in dark round collared dress in center). The woman on the far left is holding a book in her hands. Partial identification list and other information written in blue ink: "Mrs. Johnson Died June 22, 1933 [and] Fay Louis; Mrs. Jenks Adams July 66, Mrs. Slavin; Mrs. S. L. Cole; Mrs. L. C. Davis Jan. 4, 1927; Mrs. Davidson; Mrs. J. H. P. Davis Died Feb 4-1930. I think taken 1925 or 26. 3-20-80 - picture donated to the Park by Mrs. Hardin - first Baptist Church ladies group - Richmond".

Description: Photograph of the Jodarski newborns with young Mary Jones. The photograph is titled "Mary Jones, my twin and I". In this outdoor photograph, two infants identified as Florine and Madeline Jodarski, who are wearing only diapers, are sitting on a blanket in the grass. Mary Jones, who is squatting down near the blanket, is wearing a print jumper with a shirt (rolled up short sleeves) beneath. Mr. Jones' car is seen in the upper left corner of the photograph. The photograph was taken in the Jodarski front yard. [The Jodarski's older sister played with Mary often, since they were about the same age.] Written on the back of the photograph and scanned as image 2000.067.001b: "Mary Jones - Madeline - 5 mos old - 1924 Born on Albert George Ranch - 2 story house." Mr. Jodarski was a tenant farmer on the George Ranch.

Description: Photograph (copy) of an older woman and man. Written on back of photograph in pencil: "Grandma [&] Grandpa Hill (Fritz [&] Minnie) parents of Hilda Linke early 1920's Taken near Welcome, Tx Fritz died around 1924 - before Leo Linke met their daughter. Minnie lived with the Linkes at their house on FM 762 until 1950". Mr. Hill, who has a long scraggly beard and mustache, is wearing dark striped pants, black jacket and vest, and white shirt. Mrs. Hill, who has her dark hair pulled back into a bun, is wearing a dark dress with ruffles at collar and down front to waist. She has a brooch pinned at the center of the collar. There is a plant in a tub seen behind the couple; large bare tree in center background, partial view of white wooden building in left background.
