Description: Photograph of a drawing titled "MIER PRISONERS CHARGE ON THE GUARD AND VICTORY AT SALADO." The drawing depicts a scene from the Mier Expedition of soldiers fighting prisoners. The men are carrying guns, bayonets, and spears and are engaged in battle. There is an arched doorway (with a view of four armed guards) to a stucco mission in the top left corner of the drawing. Rooftops and trees are visible in the top right corner. The photograph is mounted on a cardboard substrate. Image dimensions are: 19.7 cm x 12.5 cm. Back of photograph in pencil: " J.H.P. Davis. The oval portrait, shows Lizzie wearing a dark button front dress with rounded, velvet collar. She has a floral corsage pinned on her right shoulder. Her hair is loosely pulled up and back into a bun. The second photograph on right is a copy of an original tintype of Ezekial George. The tintype shows a bust portrait of George who has dark hair and mustache. The original tintype is cut in an oval and is placed in a folder. The back of the photo is stamped in magenta type: "A. S. Masterson Commercial Photography & Picture Framing Cathedral 7541 - San Antonio."

Description: Photograph of an infant. The infant is thought to be Albert Peyton George (born October 7, 1873). A note attached to the tissue paper enfolding the photograph reads: "Photo found in trunk w/ "MDG" initials on porch of ranch house - possibly portrait of A.P. George as infant - see initials on back. V. O. 11-28-83." Penciled at top and back of photograph is the initials "A. P. G. ". In the portrait, the infant, who is wearing a white gown with lace insets at shoulders and end of sleeves, is sitting in a small wicker chair. There is a blanket to the left of the photograph. The photo is mounted on a gray matte with an embossed thick line around the perimeter of the photograph. Embossed below the photograph: "Blackburn Houston, Tex." Image dimensions are: 9.3 cm x 14.1 cm.
