Description: Photographic copy of a painting of Mamie Davis and Thomas Walter Davis. The original paintings were separate portraits of the two children and were later put together to form one image. Mamie, who has her dark hair parted down the center and pulled back, is wearing a below knee length long sleeved dress with large rounded lace collar. Lace trim is seen at sleeves and v- shaped inset in the tier effect near bottom hemline and then again as part of under skirting. The bottom tier of skirt is pleated. Three buttons trim the "v" at the tiered hemline. Mamie is wearing ear drop earrings and a chain and pendant. She is holding a round hoop in her right hand and she has her left hand on the back of the chair (in which Thomas is seated). She has her left ankle crossed over her right. Thomas is seated in an upholstered chair (with tasseled bottom and armrest). Thomas is wearing a dark short pant suit, striped stockings, and dark lace-up boots. He has his left arm on the chair armrest.

Mamie's dark hair is parted down the center and pulled back. Mamie is resting her left elbow on a cement ledge in the background (with cupid image on column). Painting of foliage as backdrop. Photograph is mounted on a tan cardboard substrate. Written on back of photograph in pencil: "Mamie Davis George" and in blue ink: "father H. HP Davis Mother Susan Ryon Davis Richmond, Texas." Photograph was given to the George Foundation by the Fort Bend Museum.

Six of the men in the front row are seated on a rock ledge sidewalk that leads to a building (doors in right background). Four men are standing in the back row. The photograph may be of a group of veterans (possibly from the Mier Expedition?) or members of the Veterans Legion of Honor who have gathered together for a reunion. William Kinchen is, from left to right, the third man in the bottom row. He is wearing a dark three piece suit and has his hands folded across the top of his cane. He is holding his hat in his left hand. He has his right leg crossed over his left leg. The image is an oval and is on a cardboard substrate. Description: Photograph of a 1886 Drug Store. The drug store is located in a two story brick building on the corner of a dirt street. The sign "Drug Store" on the northwest corner of the building, has a horse hitched to the support post. The front of the building has two glass box windows on either side of the double door entrance. Eight men are standing on the sidewalk near the front entrance. There is a man sitting in each of the four second story windows on the front side of building. A hitching post is on far left; two white wooden buildings on far right with the top of a two story brick building partially visible over the roof tops of the wooden buildings.
