Description: Greeting card sent to the Georges from The Richard Newkirk family. The card has a photographic image of two young girls standing in front of a fireplace. The young lady on the left is wearing a short sleeved dark velour dress. The girl on right is wearing a striped taffeta dress with elbow length sleeves and a plaid black trimmed inset at bodice. She is holding a wrapped gift box. There is a pot plant in bottom left corner. Over the mantle of the fireplace is an ornate wooden framed mirror. On top of the mantle are two vases with floral arrangements, and several candles with greenery surrounding them. Small votive candles fill in between flowers and tapered candles. Black text at bottom of card reads: "Suzanne and Joan send Greetings from The Richard Newkirks". The card has scalloped edging. Written in green ink on back of card: " 'Hello' Cousin Mamie! You can see what big girls I now have. Write us how you are getting along. We'd love to hear from you. Sincerely, Johny (?)".

[Cardboard box that contained eighteen postcards of Boulder Dam]

Description: Cardboard box made similar to an envelope that contained seventeen postcards that were apparently purchased as a set. The front of the box has brown text that reads: "Boulder Dam [top, center] Word's Most Impressive Engineering Spectacle Center of a Magnificent Scenic Wonderland 18 Miniature Post Cards from Original Photographs". On left side of box front is a drawing of the dam, and on the right side is a drawing of canyons. The back of the box has text in brown that reads: "From [line] To [lines]" and in a rectangular box top, right "Postage 1 1/2[cents] Seal With Stamp". Text written under flap: "Issued By Boulder Dam Service Bureau Boulder Theatre Building Boulder City, Nevada Official Motion Pictures, Original Photographs, Souvenirs and Authentic Booklets".

Description: Postcard image of "The Original Deadwood Coach" as written in black near top right of postcard. The color image shows a man holding a whip who is standing near the side door of a coach. There is another man with gun in his gloved hand sitting atop the coach to the right side of the postcard. Blue text on back of postcard reads: "Copyright By "Johnny" Baker, Golden, Colo. The Original Deadwood Coach Built at Concord, N. H. 1867. Sent to San Francisco by water where it was placed on a line infested with bandits, "baptized in fire and blood" so repeatedly on the plains, was finally abandoned. In organizing his Wild West show Col. Cody bought the old derelict, and on its time honored springs has carried more distinguished Americans and Royalty than any vehicle extant. C. T.
