Description: Handwritten notes of Jack Ruby trial juror Allen McCoy. These notes detail McCoy's experience being selected to serve on the jury but do not cover the trial itself. There are 18 pages of handwritten notes. The writing is on both the front and back of the pages and each page is numbered (1 - 36). Jury selection for the Ruby trial began in early 1964. McCoy's notes describe how he was summoned for jury duty in February and how he knew in his heart that he would be selected to serve on the jury for Jack Ruby's trial. McCoy ran out of paper before the trial began. The trial ended on March 14, 1964 when the jury found Jack Ruby guilty of murder with malice.
