[Animal Farm Edible Book in final stages]

Description: Photograph of an Edible Book for the book "Animal Farm" by George Orwell. It is a gingerbread barn, decorated with icing and a pretzel window. [Creators with If You Give a Pig a Pancake piece]

Description: Photograph of creation team (L-R) Jessica Phillips, Emily Aparicio and an unidentified member with their If You Give a Pig a Pancake piece. It was made for the annual Edible Books Festival held in Willis Library. The team made a platter that looks like maple syrup and put a little pig figurine on top of a stack of pancakes. The words "IF YOU GIVE A PIG A PANCAKE" are around the platter edge.

[Nearly complete Animal Farm piece]

Description: Photograph of the almost complete UNT Libraries staff's Animal Farm piece for the Edible Books Festival. On the baking tray is a green bottom layer of icing with little tufts of icing grass. On top of that is the full piece, three sheep made of cauliflower and mushrooms and a ginger Bread Animal Farm. Included is the barn and an arch with the words "Animal Farm" in pretzel and icing. Behind is a barn with the words "All Animalz are Equal".

Description: Photograph of a Reading Rainbow Edible Book that was made using cupcakes, cookies, Skittles, marshmallows and gummy bears. The cupcakes are arranged into a rainbow and its sitting on a green platter. On the cookies are the words "Reading Rainbow" and the 'o' is made with Skittles.
