Description: Photograph of the first class of the Texas Academy of Arts and Science (TAMS) sitting on a staircase in the Hurley Administration Building. The students are arranged in eleven rows. TAMS is a residential program at the University of North Texas for high-school aged students gifted in mathematics and science. The first class arrived on campus in 1988.

Description: Photograph of a crowd of spectators standing outside of the Administration Building to place a second time capsule into the ground on University Day. This capsule was buried to commemorate the day NTSU changed its name to The University of North Texas. The first capsule was buried in 1961 to commemorate the first year of the institution achieving university status. Both were designed to be unearthed and opened in 2015.
