Description: Photograph of the 1956 North Texas Homecoming Queen candidates posing on a staircase. Pictured (with their nominating organizations in parentheses) are (L-R): Loretta Lambert (Sigma Phi Epsilon), Jean McMullan (GIX), Peggy Bittner (Sigma Nu), Carolyn Bruce (Theta Chi), and Peggy Shelby (Kappa Sigma). Jean McMullan was crowned Homecoming Queen in 1956.
