Patent for a new and useful apparatus for cleansing and preparing cotton for baling and ginning.
Calf-Weaner.
Patent for a simple and inexpensive calf-weaner muzzle, that can also be used for colts, and is an "attachment for securing a barbed frame to a halter, whereby the frame is maintained in the operative position without interfering with the adjustment of the members of the halter to suit the size of the head of the animal" (lines 10-15).

The butter is churned by pumping a lever, which is connected to a strap that is wrapped around a rod, the rod goes into the container holding the cream and has hoops attached to it inside the container, and the pumping action makes the hoops quickly move back and forth.

Patent for "a machine especially adapted for cleaning cotton and distributing the same to one or more gins; and it has for its object to so construct the machine that it will receive the cotton from the usual suction-pipe or equivalent supply, will clean the cotton, shred or separate the same and deliver it to a carrier, which in its turn will distribute the cotton to the hoppers of one or more gins, the distribution being evenly and expeditiously accomplished; and a further object of the invention is to provide for a steady feed of the cotton at the delivery end of the carrier, said device effectually preventing choking at that point." Patent for a simple and inexpensive tube-cutter meant to cut boiler flues or tubes in order to remove or replace the tubes or flues. The tube cutter doesn't spread the tube and allows the tubes to be withdrawn through the holes after cutting them.
