Necktie and Collar Fastener.

Description: Patent for a new and improved tie and collar fastener. This design consists in "[a] fastener for securing the proper relation between the shirt-band, collar, and necktie, consisting of a spring adapted to fit inside the shirt-band and next to the neck, in combination with a hollow stud on the middle of the convex side, having a separable head with spring-catches, and the bent hook-sections, toothed . . . and arranged to separate the shirt-band, collar, and necktie" (lines 66-75).

Door Check.

Description: Patent for a new and improved door-check. This design "relates to improvements in devices for checking the movements of a door to prevent its forcible contact with a wall or other object, and for automatically fastening it in an open position, so that it will not be accidentally closed. The invention consists of a check or catch plate adapted to be secured to the floor or wall and provided with an inclined track for the passage of a spring-bolt on the door, a transverse projection being arranged vertically at the rear end of said inclined track and formed into a seat for the spring-bolt" (lines 8-20).

Description: Patent for a new and improved harrow. This design "has relation to that class of rotary harrows having arms provided with and extending radially from a common center, a track-ring connected to the upper side of the harrow-arms, upon which work friction-rollers connected to the seat-support. Description: Patent for a new and improved coupling for railroad-cars. This design consists in "an ordinary draw-head provided with the usual pin-and-link coupling [that] can be readily and cheaply adapted for use as an automatic coupling. The invention consists in the combination, with a slotted draw-head and a coupling-pin swinging therein and provided with pivotal supports or trunnions, of a vertically-projecting and axially-rotatable guide loop or staple arranged on each side of the pin-slot and adapted to hold the pin from being jolted out of the draw-head, and to permit its withdrawal" (lines 9-20).
