Water-Closet Flush.

Description: Patent for a siphon flushing apparatus for water-closets in which it will regulate the quantity of the water being discharged at each flushing; at the same time it can prevent water leakage. Illustration is included.

Bung and Air Connection for Beer-Kegs, &c.

Description: Patent for improvements in bungs and air connections for beer-kegs by using a metallic bung which has an opening (a bung-hole), “and provided atone side with a passage, the passage being interiorly threaded at its outer end, an air-tube provided with a valve and having a swiveled member exteriorly threaded and engaging the threaded portion of the passage, and the cork or stopper arranged within the inner portion of the bung-hole and closing the inner end of the passage.” (Lines 116-123, p. 3) Illustration is included.
