Patent for a new and improved bobbin winder. This design consists in "the combination, with the main driving-shaft carrying a disk and rotated by the driving-belt of the sewing-machine, of a second shaft in axial line with the said driving-shaft and having a longitudinal movement, a disk held on the said second shaft, a bobbin held by its flanges in said disks, and rollers pressing against the bobbin in the front and rear" (lines 50-58).

This design consists in "[t]he combination of the frame, the seed-tube secured therein, the box secured around the upper end of the seed-tube and having the upper beveled edge, the hopper having its lower end resting on the said beveled edge, and the straps secured to the hopper and the box" (lines 52-58).

Corn Planter Attachment.
Patent for a new and improved planter attachment. This design consists "of a suitable hopper which is to be attached to the side of the beam, a spring-actuated seed-slide, an extension or support which projects from one end of the hopper, a pivoted lever placed upon the extension and connected to the seed-slide at one end, a strap connected to the outer end of the lever, and the singletree to which the draft animal is secured . . . to convert any ordinary plow or cultivator into a corn-planter . . . which is operated by the pivoted motion of the singletree as the draft animal moves forward" (lines 14-29).
Brace for Bedsteads.
Patent for a new and improved brace for bedsteads. This design has for its object "to provide an attachment for bedsteads whereby the side rails are prevented from springing outward or expanding from any cause, and thus allowing the slats to fall through" (lines 14-18).
Combined or Covertible Tool.
Patent for a new and improved multi-tool. This design consists in "[t]he combination of a screw-driver, its blade having a hole and a lug, and its handle having in its end a socket with a slotted reversible tool, pointed at one end and formed for a screw-driver at the other end adjustably held against one side of the screw-driver by means of a screw and nut and the lug, and adapted to fit in the socket when out of use" (lines 63-71).

This design consists in "a draw-head provided with a vertically-movable coupling-pin support and lifting frame, a spring holding the coupling-pin support in raised position, a catch for holding the pin-support in lowered position, and a lever mechanism for releasing the catch and effecting the uncoupling of a car" (lines 7-14).
Burglar-Alarm
Patent for "a portable burglar-alarm, which may be secured in position adjacent to a window or door, so that upon the opening of the same the alarm will be tripped and the cartridge detonated" (lines 9-13).

Patent for a new and improved blind-stop. This design consists "[i]n blind-stops, the rod, consisting of two parts connected by a thin piece of metal, in combination with a blind provided with a median open-slotted tapering screw and thumb-nut" (lines 49-53).
