Automatic Recording Apparatus for Vehicles.

Description: Patent for an improved automatic passenger register and mileage recorder for vehicles that travel on rails. It consists of a roller that is actives by a time motor, a strip that the roller moves, a pressure roller, a pair of rollers that a record sheet is wound between, a mechanism that controls movements of the pair of rollers, electromagnets that are connected to the seats, armature levers that mark the electromagnets current, a bell crank lever that marks the moving record sheet, and a spring that supports the lever.

Bale Band Replacer and Tightener.

Description: Patent for a new and improved bale-band replacer and tightener. This design "provide[s] a simple and convenient device for replacing a broken bale-bind, for tightening the band around the bale, and for drawing the ends together, so as to provide the necessary slack for slipping the loop out of the tie when it is desired to remove a band" (lines 13-19).

Bale-Tie.

Description: Patent for a new and improved bale-tie that eliminates the need for buckles. This design achieves this with a hook and a U-shaped piece of iron to be riveted to the band, thus fastening the bale without buckles.

Baling-Press.

Description: Patent for a baling press made up of a vertically movable core that moves up as it gets wrapped up in the internet, supporting drums, a feed apron that presses the material to the core, a pivoted swinging frame with a compression roller, a bale support, a mechanism that lifts the frame when the bale is finished, and a rack-and-pinion mechanism that raises the compression roller that moves up to let the bale get bigger, and a mechanism that rotates the rack-and-pinion.

Description: Patent for a baling-press used for baling cotton "in which the cotton-bat is wound into a cylindrical form without the use of a metal or similar core" (lines 11-13).

Band-Cutter and Feeder for Thrashing-Machines

Description: Patent for an attachment for thrashing-machines "for cutting the bands on the sheaves of wheat, rice, or other grain, to spread the loosened bundles out uniformly, and to then feed them thus spread out into the thrashing-machine, whereby the strain on the machine can be made more uniform" (lines 15-20) and the capacity and efficiency can be increased.

Description: Patent for a new and improved bee feeder. This design consists in "the vertically oblong box or case having an opening in one side of its lower end, a trough or basin projecting in front of said lower opening, and lateral attaching flanges or wings" (lines 68-72).

Description: Patent for a bee hive which has multiple compartments which the bees can travel through and, when keeper wants to remove honey all the bees can be sent into one compartment to avoid the danger of being stung. It also has ventilation and rain protection.
