[Annual Report: National Project Committee, 1962-1963]

Description: Annual report of the National Project Committee of the San Antonio chapter of The Links, Inc. for 1962-1963. For the first time, the chapter embarked on a full-scale project to introduce selected local students to the fine arts through cultural events programs, which included visits to the symphony, opera, musicals, and art galleries. Both the students involved and school principals were supportive of the program and felt it was a great success. The committee recommends that the program be renewed for a second year.

Beethoven Hall

Description: An artistic illustration of Beethoven Hall. It was originally built in 1895 as the concert hall of the Beethoven Mannerchor. A fire destroyed the original structure in 1913 and the choir members built a new Beethoven Hall, which stands on the grounds where HemisFair '68 was held. During the fair the Hall was occupied by the "Laterna Magika".
