[Promissory Note from W. H. Bonnell to Charles Schreiner Bank]

Description: Promissory note from W. H. Bonnell to Charles Schreiner Bank in the amount of $3,350 in "United States Gold Coin" with a nine percent interest rate until the note was paid off; on top of this there would be a ten percent fee "additional on principal and interest if placed in the hands of an Attorney for collection." There is a pink stamp printed on the center of the note acknowledging the fact that the note had been paid off on July 17, 1922.

Description: Land grant certificate presented to George L. Leigh and signed by the governor of Texas, L. S. Ross. This grant to George, his heirs or assigns "forever Three Hundred and Twenty (320) acres of land." The rest of the certificate references the specified land and details the perimeter and borders of it in terms of longitude and latitude degrees as well as compass directions.

[Two Drafts of a Memorandum of Contract Between Three Couples and Richard Nowlin]

Description: Memorandum of contract between Mr. and Mrs. Bonnell, Mr. and Mrs. Dickey, and Mr. and Mrs. Liljegren of the first party, and Richard and R. W. Nowlin of the second. The members of the first party "agree to sell and convey unto Richard and R. W. Nowlin the following real estate situated in Kerr County, Texas" including 500 acres from the James E. Bettner survey; in return, Nowlin will pay "twenty four dollars per acre" with one fourth being in cash and the remainder in three promissory notes.

[Quit Claim Deed and Plat Print from George Bigford to Edward B. Leigh]

Description: Documents including a claims deed and plat map created between George Bigford and Edward B. Leigh; the exchanged land was sold to Leigh for $122. The deed has a note on the back explaining that the land, "known as survey No. 1946," was patented December 21, 1900 hence the deed couldn't be filed January 5, 1900. The map outlines the plot of land in Kerr County: "G. L. Lee's land and adjacent surveys."
