The roads are rough north of Banger. Claire watches the country by spells, counts the cabins, looked for bumps in road yesterday. Found the trailer O.K. I got Ted's Letters and card. Harriet."

[Postcard of Laconia Fire Dept., New Hampshire]

Description: Postcard of the Laconia Fire Department at their station, with the fire fighters sitting in a horse-drawn fire engine. The station has four garage doors visible at its base. Ivy is growing on the side of the building. On the back of the postcard, the sender has left a handwritten message that says, "Another out of town fire card for you. Hope I can continue getting them for you. [...] You card is dandy, mighty pleased with it. Call again."
