Description: Copy negative of the Rudefehu mine. In the picture a big number of workers are seen standing and sitting around the rail carts. Most of them are wearing dark clothing with jackets and hats. In the background there is a building, also a lot of wood is stacked in piles next to the building. Also in the background there are metal towers with lines running from one to the next one. "Rudefehu Mine in Boom Days of 1904-1908 Battle, Wyoming" is written at the bottom of the picture.

Description: Postcard of the High School, U. P. Club House, Masonic Temple, and Elks' Home in Rock Springs, Wyoming. The back of the postcard adds, "Rock Springs, on the main line of the Union Pacific, about midway between Denver and Salt Lake City, center of the largest coal mining sections in the West. Mine payrolls average $400,000 per month. Rock Springs is also the center of a large sheep raising area." The message on the back is illegible. The postcard is addressed to "Mrs. Carroll E. Ward Texas Ice Co., Beaumont, Texas."
