Description: Copy of transcript for a letter from Stephen F. Austin to Martín Perfecto de Cos, which accompanied Austin's letter to Cos of October 17, 1835 asking for truce. This letter acknowledges Austin's receiving Cos's letter of the 5th, and expresses Austin's wish to settle affairs in Texas with Cos.
