Description: Copy of transcript for a letter from Sylvester Murphy to Stephen F. Austin, in which Sylvester informs Austin that he is suffering from persistent and severe lung inflammation which is keeping him from discussing matters in person. Murphy indicates that he is aware that Warren D.C. Hall has taken possession of the Phelps Tract and that based on prior negotiations, Murphy feels that he should be given the Clear Creek tract.
