Description: Letter from Dr. Hugh Jeter, Associate Professor of Clinical Pathology at the University Hospital in Oklahoma City, to Dr. Meyer Bodansky. The letter, which is dated October 8, 1940, informs Dr. Bodansky that Dr. Jeter has a job opening at the hospital for an Assistant Director of Laboratories. Dr. Jeter summarizes the qualities and qualifications of an ideal candidate, and requests that Dr. Bodansky ask potential applicants to contact him directly.

Description: Notice of classification document sent out by the Local Board in Wharton, Texas, to Ejner Larsen Wind in Danevang. The front side lists the registrant name as well as a stamp of approval and a signature by a member of the Local Board (name is partially visible but a hard crease halfway down the middle of the postcard has rendered it difficult to read). It ends with fine print concerning the right to appeal. On the back, there is postage information.

Description: Onionskin paper carbon copy of letter written by John J. Herrera to Holger Jeppesen, addressing a segregation issue arising at the Gulf Atlantic Warehouse Company. Latin Americans of Mexican descent were being segregated during lunchtime at the warehouse. This was a violation of the segregation laws of the State of Texas.
