[Letter from John Mcarthy to Charles B. Moore, April 30, 1880]

Description: A personal letter from John McCarthy to his old friend Charles B. Moore. It congratulates Charles on the birth of his new daughter, and also notes an impending visit. A postal stamp on the front of the envelope reads: "Georgetown, TEX; 4 May" and one on the back reads "McKinney TEX.; May 4." The envelope is addressed to Charles B. Moore in McKinney Texas, and bears a handwritten note reading: "Dr. John McCarty; Received May; 1880."

Telegraph Apparatus.
