Description: Warranty deed from George and Virginia Leigh to Edward B. Leigh for the purchase of a parcel of land in Kerr County, Texas. [Deed of Trust from George L. Leigh to Paul Villaret and Joseph Heinen, February 4, 1891]

Description: Deed placing "survey number 1430 situated in Kerr County...patent number 181" in trust as collateral against a promissory note made to Joseph Heinen for the original purchase of the land by George L. Leigh. As part of the transaction it includes a sale of the land to Paul Villaret for ten dollars making him the executor of the trust.

Description: Bill of sale from George L. Leigh to John A. Bonnell acknowledging the sale of land and 110 heads of cattle. The note goes on to say that this "transfer and Bill of Sale is made on the following terms and conditions to secure the payment of a promissory note for $782.66" from Bonnell, payable on May 1, 1887. The check included in the record is worth $716.66 from John A. Bonnell to Edward A. Leigh.
