[The McNeill Family Films, No. 5 - Holidays and Birthdays, 1984-1985]

Description: This home movie documents the daily lives and activities of the McNeill Family including birthdays and holidays. The film begins with Brandy and another child dressed as Garfield and a Care Bear for Halloween (00:00-01:45) for Halloween 1984. Footage of Thanksgiving 1984 includes Pam with her daughter Brandy and guests seated around the dining table for dinner (01:45-02:57). Christmas 1984 features footage of stockings and presents under the tree including a large doll house. There is an extended close up sequence of the interior of the doll house and its contents including a mini Monopoly board game. There are then three different segments of Easter footage featuring Brandy showing off her basket full of Easter Eggs in a backyard, holding a basket and pinwheel in a windy field, and posing in an Easter dress (14:28-18:02). There is then footage of unidentified friends or family members posing in front of a home (18:02-19:02). Pam and her husband bring their new son home from the hospital and footage includes the couple and their daughter Brandy interacting with the newest member of the family (19:02-25:55). Footage also includes family members interacting with dogs and a puppy, brandy riding a bicycle and playing on a swing set, and her brother in a playpen (27:16-30:24). For Halloween 1985, Brandy dressed as Rainbow Brite poses for the camera with a boy dressed as Skeletor and another boy in an unidentified costume (30:24-32:40). The film ends with Brandy and her new baby brother at home (32:40-34:00).
