Description: This map shows North America and the surrounding areas. The United States (including Alaska) and Mexico are shaded in pink, and Canada (British America) is shaded in purple. Major cities are labeled (and most are marked with a red 'x'); bodies of water and geographic features are marked (with relief shown by hachures). There is an inset in the bottom left corner shows the state of Ohio next to a scale block of 40,000 sq. miles. Prime meridians: Greenwich and Washington. There is text on the back of the map including a section titled "Physical United States" and a section titled "Description" with questions about geography. The title at the top of the page is "Physical United States: Questions on the Map. -- Position, Area, and Surface."
