Each figurine has a flat wood block base, and are arranged at different levels on small platforms covered by a large piece of cloth. In the background, a dark, paisley-patterned curtain hangs on a wall, with another curtain in front of the first, which have been pulled back on either side by cords. The wood block base has the name of the presidents engraved on them, including, from left to right, back to front: George Washington, John Adams, Richard M.
