[Native Americans Pounding Corn]

Description: Photograph of Darby Battise, member of the Alabama-Coushatta tribe of Texas, pounding corn in a corn mill at the second annual Texas Folklife Festival. Situated in the Indian Village, the young tribe member is pounding the corn using a tree branch in a corn mill made from a tree trunk with a hollowed out opening.
