Just One More...

Description: Photograph of Junebug Clark posing with multiple cameras around his neck. Narrative by Junebug Clark: Years after I took a similar photo of my dad with most of his gear he turned the tables and shot me with my gear. The idea was to illustrate the most common phrase used by photographers, or maybe it is me who says, "Just One More!" a lot. For added kicks I wore my "Look at the Birdie" hat. [Boys Pouring Milk from Prototype Paper Milk Carton (2)]

Description: Photograph of two young boys sitting at a kitchen table. The boy on the left, Junebug Clark, pours milk from a PurePak container into a glass, which the boy on the right, Arnold Koziarz, holds. Junebug Clark Narrative: The significance of this photo is that at the time milk was only being sold and home delivered in glass containers. PurePak was manufacturing the "new" paper carton containers, but no one would buy into milk in paper cartons. There are a series of photos made for ads, like this one that ran but people were not convinced. Finally a hurricane hit Florida and Excello, the parent company of PurePak, sent truck loads of water in their new PurePac paper cartons and people finally got it. Since there were no photos of the unanticipated successful distribution of these water cartons, you can find photos of the recreation of this event, used in ads and promotion, in the Clark Photo Collection also.
