Description: Transcript of a meeting held August 24, 1965 with Allison Peery, Richard Wilson, and Jim Glass. The meeting discussed the HemisFair project, why it was proposed, how it would be financed, the space planning, what facilities and attractions would be offered, as well as what the fair symbols should be. The transcript is typed, with annotations in hand, on "Culberson, Slaughter, Glass & DuBose, inc." corporate letterhead.

News release : Governor and Mrs. Connally to visit Latin America.

Description: News release announcing Governor and Mrs. John Connally's three-weeks visit to Latin American countries in July/August 1966 on behalf of HemisFair '68. He will invite countries to participate in the fair. Prior to his departure he will be honored at a reception in Washington, D.C. for his role as Commissioner General of the fair. The news release also mentions countries and corporations who have already signed up to participate in HemisFair '68.

Description: This is an image of a walkthrough area of an amusement park with various buildings and street amusements going on. A crowd of people are gathered around a clown on stilts while others are passing by or going into an assortment of shops and eateries. The area is paved like a street with a grassy area in the forefront of the picture that’s roped off, and several trashcans are placed about the surrounding area for patrons to use. To the far back of the crowd are trees and more of the amusement area, that’s partially visible.

Several groups of people are walking to and from one side of the park to another passing through this tunnel. Description: Letter to accompany the transcript of a meeting held August 24, 1965 about HemisFair '68. The letter, from Jim Glass, is addressed to one of the fellow meeting attendees, Mr. Allison Peery. Mr. Peery was one of the site planning architects for HemisFair. The letter is written on "Culberson, Slaughter, Glass & DuBose, inc." letterhead.
