Military District headquarters (Rockwell Field, California; Fort Bliss, Texas; and Kelly Field, Texas) for the pilots patrolling the border from the Pacific to the Gulf of Mexico.

[Resting F Company Soldiers on 25 Mile Hike]

Description: Photograph of a group of F Company soldiers resting on the side of a road while on a 25 mile hike at Camp Campbell. A tracked vehicle is partially visible in the upper left corner of the photo. Writing on the back of the photo indicates that the two men resting against a tree in the background are Adam Kornberger and Henry LaRue. The uniformed men sitting in the foreground are identified as Robert Ball and James O. Lively, while the remaining two men on the right are unknown. Several boots have been removed and are lying among the soldiers.
