[Country Club, Waco, Texas]

Description: Color postcard with a picture of the Country Club in Waco Texas. There is a large building with columns on the front with landscaping around it, a brick chimney, a semi-circular deck, and a widows walk on top of the roof. On the back is the correspondence, "Dear Dillie, Lyle still confined to her bed, will write as soon as I can. Love to you all from us both. - Your friend, M.L.H." It is addressed to Mrs. E.A. Dill in Oklahoma City. It is postmarked Waco, Tx., 1908.

[Port Arthur Country Club]

Description: Photograph of a wooden building identified as the Port Arthur Country Club. In front of the building, there are two parked cars amongst several trees. Text on the bottom of the photograph says "Country Club Recreation." The clubhouse was building in 1910, and had an outdoor swimming pool that was fed with water from Artesian Spring. The clubhouse was used until 1955, when the property was sold to a petrochemical company. A new clubhouse was built on Taylor Bayou.

Description: Photograph of the interior lobby of the Abilene Country Club. In the foreground, a long sofa facing three chairs can be seen. A glass coffee table is at their center and an end table with a lamp sits to the right of the sofa. The area is sectioned off by a room partition that wraps behind the sofa. In the background beyond the partition, multiple plants are placed throughout the room and views of the property can be seen through several tall windows.
