Description: Valentine's Day card, specifically for a sister, with a red rose on the front of it and a typed note inside. A handwritten note on the back of the card says, "Was just wishing I had Valentines to send and took a walk down the avenue and found these - I'm not going to try to live up to all this loving talk in these. I feel a lot of it though. Ruth is in bed today with cold. Hope she is better tomorrow for we are to have turkey dinner with them Monday night. Have had a hard time getting a visit with them. Am going to Mrs. Thurman's luncheon. Then I hope I'll get rounding up - Robert just called - Ruth has bronchitis - I'm afraid our turkey dinner is off - Love, Lucy.
