Description: Photograph of twenty-one children arranged in three rows, the first row sitting on the ground with their legs crossed, the second row kneeling, and the third row standing against a brick wall. The first row is made up of young boys, the second row is made up of slightly older boys and girls, while the third row is made up of slightly older boys and girls. One girl in the back row, standing in the middle, is much taller than the rest of the children. There is a window in the brick wall behind them, and a small wooden sign reading "SALADO 3rd and 4th," on the ground in front of the first row. The photograph is in a green, folding paper frame, and a white rectangular sticker on the back of the frame indicates the children are the 1940s senior class of Salado High School, shown in the 3rd and 4th grades.
