Description: Photograph of a Alabama land deed for 220 acres belonging to Garrison Deens. it is signed by President James Buchanan on November 1, 1858. Mr. Deens sold this land to James O. Sellers in 1859 or 1860. Mr. Sellers was Ethel Bryant's grandfather. This photo was included in a research paper by Mike Shurley for an American History class at Marfa High School in 1968.
