Last week I waded waist deep across a pond of icy water, didn't get to change clothes for four hours and all it did was make my nose run. I have been taking pictures and will send some pretty soon. Mark."

Description: Postcard from Kate to Mrs. W. A. Scott with an illustration of two children with a caption that reads: "Tell me, Sweet does that heart of thine Cherish a thought that is hope to mine?" The note on the card tells Scott that she should come up to Durant to visit but that Kate's children has had the chicken pox.
