Description: Postcard from Mabel to Mrs. M. E. Wise, thanking her for her letter, sending her apologies that Mrs. Wise's father is unwell, and promising to explain why she will be unable to visit Boulder, Colorado until February. The front of the postcard features a photograph of two women standing on a large rock inside a dark cavern. Both women are wearing trousers and t-shirts, and the woman on the right has her hair pulled back into small draped turban. They are illuminated by a light from somewhere on the ground, which also reveals the large rock formations on the cave wall behind them. At their feet is a sign that reads, "Visit Cascade Caverns." The name of the cave, "Tobacco Room," is printed at the top of the postcard.

Description: Postcard of the Westward Ho Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona behind the palm treeline. A note on the face of the postcard reads, "Spent the night in air cooled hotel and leave at 4 A. M. for San Diego. Arriving there soon all well at home Mamie." The message on the back reads, "Come from Safford to here this morning arrive here at 1 o'clock over a gorgeous drive. Huge these mountains. We are in air cooled hotel until six this afternoon. We're driving to Yuma arriving about 11 or 12 tonight - miss me." The postcard is addressed to "Mrs. Carroll E. Ward Texas Ice Co. Beaumont, Texas."

Description: Postcard to Mrs. Emil Philippus, discussing arrangements for Mrs. Philippus to meet her mother-in-law at the depot on May 8, 1921. The front of the postcard features a photograph of the Holy Angels Academy in Boerne, Texas, a two-story, light-colored wood building with wrap-around porches on both stories. There is a small tower extending from the center of the roof of the building, and a short flagpole at the front of the roof. There is a large group of students and nuns standing on the first-floor porch and sitting on a few short steps leading up to the porch. There are two large, bare trees on either side of the front steps.

Description: Photograph of a group of people standing outside a one-story brick building with the caption, "Customs Officers and Guards. Juarez, Mexico." There appears to be a main entrance to the right and a smaller doorway on an addition to the left; both doorways are decorated with Mexican flags and banners aw well as a framed picture of President Venustiano Carranza above the left doorway. Seven men are standing around the outside of the building including two in the main doorway (one holding a shotgun) and a man and a woman in the second doorway. The back of the postcard is addressed to Sr. Guillermo Stein.

Description: Postcard of a wooden cabin with a sign reading "Pinkiert's," across from a group of large white tents. A wooden bridge crosses the river towards the cabin. The picture is described as "Front Street, Tanana, Alaska." On the back, the letter reads, "This is the city adjoining our fort. It is called "The Coney Island" of the Yukon. Pop. 200. Next to Daveon, it is the largest settlement on the Yukon river. Does it remind you of Beaumont?" The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFadden Paso del Norte El Paso, Texas."
