Description: Photograph of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at Akard Mall. According to the information hand-written on the back, the show was part of a "Sidewalk Symphony" concert series in May, 1978. The concert series was sponsored by the City Arts Program division of the Dallas Park and Recreation Department and the Dallas Park Board. There were four free noontime concerts in May that attracted 2,500 to 3,000 people downtown.
