Children Feeding Chickens

Description: Copy print of three young children feeding several chickens in front of a two-story house. From left to right, they have been identified as O. V. (Mickey) Christensen, A. E. Christensen, and Emma Christensen. A line of thinly distributed, slender trees line the perimeter of the house. The house itself has intersecting gable roofs on the top floor covered by dark-colored shingles. The first floor projects outwardly and has a second roof structure that creates an overhang in the back right corner for a patio space.

Description: Copy negative print of the Jensen family residence in Danevang, Texas. Taken some distance away from the house, the photograph captures the Jensen family behind a cluster of chickens. Two children are riding mules. Presumably, Carl Jensen is the man on the right wearing a dark-colored suit. The house itself has sloping, steep roofs with light-colored shingles. There are two patios on the first floor. They each have an overhang and slender columns acting as support. A brick chimney can be seen at the very top.

H. N. Hansen Residence

Description: Copy negative print of the Hansen residence on the west side of Danevang, Texas. The house is a two-story structure with intersecting gable roofs. The second floor balcony was constructed over a shingled mansard roof, also on the second floor, that covers the first floor front entrance. The overhang has one visible column on its right corner. Two cars are parked in the front lawn. There appears to be a person seated in each driver's side seat. A chicken can be seen on the far right in between two poles that are buried in the ground.
