The men in the back row are standing and holding tubas, euphoniums, trombones and other brass instruments except for the young man on the far right who is standing with his arms folded. In front of them four men are sitting in chairs, the two in the front holding clarinets and the two behind them holding trumpets. In the front a young boy is sitting on the ground next to two plants holding a snare drum and on the right there is a bass drum with the words "Banda... de Brownsville" on it. Behind the men a porch is visible with several chairs and music stands on it in front of a brick building with several doors and windows. A handwritten text on the front of the photograph reads "Ebony Band W.O.W. Brownsville Texas Jun. 4/1911. Morales."

[Band setting up in UNT on the Square]

Description: Photograph of a band setting up in the UNT on the Square space in downtown Denton. The players are wearing Christmas themed clothing for the Tree Lighting Ceremony and the conductor is wearing a "Buddy the Elf" costume. The band members seem to have either Euphoniums or Tubas to play and there are candy cane boxes on the floor in front of them.
