The Grand Chorus has a distinguished history of performing under the leadership of many of the world's most highly respected orchestral conductors. The late Georg Solti called the UNT Grand Chorus one of America's best choirs. The Grand Chorus sings annually with the UNT Symphony Orchestra, UNT Chamber Orchestra, UNT Wind Symphony and/or regional symphonies.

[Robert B. Gregg sitting at his desk]

Description: Photograph of Robert B. Gregg sitting at his desk. The name plate "Robert Gregg" is visible on his desk as well as a "No Smoking" sign posted on the bulletin board to his left. Dr. Gregg received a Ph.D. in College Teaching and a Master of Music Education from the University of North Texas, and a Bachelor of Music Education from Oklahoma Baptist University. Prior to his tenure at Belmont, Dr. Gregg was Assistant to the Dean of the School of Music at the University of North Texas. While at North Texas, he also served as the Assistant Conductor of Orchestras under Maestro Anshel Brusilow, Brass Choir Conductor. In 2012, he celebrated 25 years as founding director of the Symphony Orchestra for Belmont University's School of Music. He also conducted the All State Orchestra in Missouri.
