Description: Photograph of a line of cars traveling on the Cobo Hall Parking Ramp in Detroit. Two ships can be seen on the Detroit River with Canada in the background. Life Magazine pages 28-29. 1961 Cars - Cobo Hall Ramp. This photo by Joe appears in a two page Life magazine spread. It coincided the with 1.) Opening of Cobo Hall and 2.) The Detroit North American Auto show opening and 3.) The unvieling of the new 1961 Automobiles. Joe had a 40 foot scaffold built on top of a nearby building to get the angle for this photo. Luckily the parking structure that this ramp lead to was not yet opened and these new cars could be driven into position, photographed and then driven back into Cobo Hall for exhibition. [Postcard of Sailboat on Sea]

Description: Postcard of three sailboats on a rocky sea, one far closer than the other two. The message on the front of the postcard reads, "Big dance at the club Wednesday, wish you were here so we could dance our old stand by "Chili and Beans." H. H." The message on the back continues with "For the life of me, I can't guess "Who's Jack." H. H. 10-16-11." The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFaddin Washington D. C. Gunston Hall."
